The Torch M&A team provides sell-side and buy-side advisory services to founders, strategics, private equity sponsors (through growth, buyout & infrastructure fund strategies) directly as well as their portfolio companies. Our team provides advice on every element of a transaction from strategy, timing, structure, financing, pricing, and is closely involved in negotiating and closing transactions. We execute transactions on a global basis and, where relevant, utilise our deep industry knowledge across the individual verticals within the Torch platform.
Over the past two years, Torch has advised on over $15bn of M&A transaction value.

Private Capital Markets
The Torch PCM team provides capital raising & structuring advice to fast growing technology companies, their founders and investors. We seek to build long-term relationships with our clients through offering tailored advice and delivering successful outcomes, driven by our deep industry knowledge, extensive investors relationships (across traditional GPs as well as direct to LP capital from insurers, pensions funds, SWF and Family Offices) and broad product expertise. We also provide GPs with advice on how to expand and enhance their LP base – including providing advice on both single and multi-asset Continuation Funds.
Over the past two years, we have raised over $1.5bn of capital for our clients from a global set of investors across the US, Europe, Asia and MENA.

Since 2020, Torch has provided advisory services to SPACs (Special Purpose Acquisition Company), in which companies seek an alternative, efficient method of accessing the public markets. Torch advises on dual track SPAC and M&A processes, as well as working with SPACs to identify suitable targets. Torch works closely with its clients through the financial and regulatory element of the process to ensure successful execution.
Torch has advised companies on successful IPOs and follow-on offerings over the past two decades. Typically, this has been with companies Torch has worked with since early in their development. Torch advised Just Eat from its Series A up to its IPO (LSE) and Telecity on more than 10 transactions as well as its IPO (LSE). Torch works closely with clients to assess readiness and guide them through the full process. Torch also has excellent experience in sponsor-backed take-privates and public carve-outs.
