Just Eat acquires four businesses from Rocket Internet and foodpanda
Torch Partners has advised Just Eat plc (LSE: JE.), the world’s leading digital marketplace for takeaway food delivery, on its acquisition of four businesses from Rocket Internet and foodpanda for €125m in aggregate (£94.7m). The businesses acquired are online takeaway food businesses trading in Spain (La Nevera Roja), Italy (PizzaBo/hellofood Italy), Brazil (hellofood Brazil) and Mexico (hellofood Mexico).

Over the last 9 years, Torch has worked with Just Eat on private financings, the IPO and acquisitions, with this being the sixth completed Just Eat transaction on which Torch has advised.
